I’ve been asked what’s my studio set up. It is quite different from about 10 years ago. Check out the story by Paul White of Sound on Sound music magazine to read about my original one. I’m now located in the comfort of a spare room at home. And the soundproofed garage space featured in the magazine is now sadly used for storage ..
Here’s a couple of photos. The walls are a peach pink and the carpets a deep red. Both courtesy of the previous owners. It has only taken us 16 years still not to do anything about it. But the rather warm and rosy glow is quite natural. Guess I do feel like I’m in my own cosy little nook in there.. 🙂

You may also be asking… what are my shoes doing amongst my studio toys at the bottom of the picture? They are a necessity and form a vital aspect to my rig. For without their 4-inch tall technology, I would otherwise be unable to comfortably reach the various foot pedals under the keyboard. 😉

Things I mostly use for my Live and Live Webcast shows..
Sigma T15E Travel Electro-Acoustic guitar
Behringer V-tone Acoustic pedal
Shure SM58 microphone
Korg SP170s stage piano
Behringer UB1002FX mixer
JoeMeek VC3 compressor
Vox Lil Looper
Apogee Jam
iPhone (video, audio and a broadcaster app)
